Each piece is handcrafted from wine barrel components, such as barrel heads, staves, and hoops, preserving as much of the original details in the barrel construction. Even the unique elements in the stave ends, such as the croze and chime remain evident. In those cases where the barrel contained a red varietal, the interior portions are purposefully exposed in the finished piece to reveal the beautiful crimson color.
